Red Ribbon Week was observed this year October 25-29.  This national drug awareness program was sponsored locally by GMAD (Greyhounds Making A Difference).  The week featured handing out red ribbons, signing of the pledge banner, an educational program at the elementary, voting for Mr. and Miss Red Ribbon Week, the drunk driving cart, elementary drug-free parade and an assembly and speaker.  Mrs. Riggs and the GMAD members put on a great Red Ribbon Week.  Thanks for the positive week.
