On October 18, 2005 at 5:00 p.m., Sloan-Hendrix seventh grade, junior high, and senior high basketball teams had their inter-squad scrimmages, the Black and Gold Games.  At these games, all of the teams demonstrated superior athletic ability and sportsmanship.  The Black and Gold Games gave basketball fans a preview of what the 2005-2006 Greyhound season has in store.  On a tastier note, free food was enjoyed by all.  Thanks to Citizens Bank for grilling the burgers and hotdogs and also  for giving out drinks and chips to go with the meal.  At the end of the night, everyone left well-fed and happy......because the Greyhounds won!
