Commencement exercises for the Sloan-Hendrix Class of 2007 were held on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 7:30 pm in the Sloan-Hendrix Gymnasium. The Ceremony was conducted by Michael Holland, Superintendent of Schools; Mitch Walton, High School Principal; and the Sloan-Hendrix School Board. The keynote address was presented by Dr. Danny Holt, from the Pocahontas Medical Center. Other speakers included class valedictorian Natasha Difani and the class Co-Salutatorian Jessica Anderson and Karen Rorex. School Superintendent, Michael Holland was this year's recipient of the Citizen Award for his outstanding and dedicated service to the Sloan-Hendrix School District. The invocation was offered by Gary Salard. The ceremony concluded with a benediction offered by Jessie Poteet.
