On Friday morning, August 20, members of the Sloan-Hendrix Livestock Show Team competed at the Lawrence County
Fair.  Those members included:  Chase King, Chase DeJournett, Kristin Bratcher, Ashley Saylors, Skyler Morris, Matthew
Baldridge, Emily Bilbrey, Keith Saylors, Brody Hufstedler, Anthony Blissenbach, and Austin Morris.  Junior members included
Jake Stallings and Hunter Stallings.  Collegiate members included Amanda Holland and Kara Morris.  Alumni members included:
Tristan and Kristina Young and Katie Williams.  Show team advisor is Mr. Joe Wallis.

A Blue Ribbon Premium sale was held for the first time this year.  Area businesses bid on or added money to those exhibitors
with a blue ribbon animal.  Even though the event was called a Blue Ribbon Sale, exhibitors retained possession of their animals.
