On Tuesday, October 5, Sloan-Hendrix FBLA members attended the District II Fall Leadership Conference at the
Arkansas State University Convocation Center in Jonesboro.  Keynote speaker, Natalie White, was the 19th winner
of the reality show “Survivor”, which took place on the island of Samoa in 2009.  She used a presentation with clips from
the show to illustrate tips on how to survive in today’s world.  Other speakers included representatives from FBLA
service projects such as the March of Dimes, ARORA, Make A Wish Foundation, and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. At
the conclusion of the conference, Sloan-Hendrix members ate lunch and did a little shopping at the Caraway Plaza
Shopping Center.  Those attending the conference were Samantha Adams, Maegan Austin, Bob Boudin, Shilah Boudin,
