Sloan-Hendrix Juniors
-The Class of 2013-
placed orders for their class rings with the Jostens Representative on Tuesday, August 30.

Big THANK YOU goes out to Mr. Wallis for substitute bus driving for Mr. Thomison complete with Thomison disguise.

Seniors and Juniors met with the Jostens representative on Tuesday, August 23 in the Student Center at SHHS.

Class meetings were held on Monday, August 22 at Sloan-Hendrix High School.  Among other business, the students elected class officers and class favorites.  The meetings took place in the student's home rooms.

During the week of August 16-20, the Lawrence County Fair took place on the Sloan-Hendrix campus.  Sloan-Hendrix was well represented at the Fair.

The first day of the 2011-2012 school year
took place on Monday, August 15.

The 2010-2011 Academian was dedicated to High School teacher Lisa Holland and Elementary teacher Roberta Duncan.
Sloan-Hendrix faculty members attended
workshops on campus beginning August 1.

The High School Faculty met with Melanie Spence, Literacy Specialist from the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative, on Wednesday, August 10.
