FBLA Members and FBLA sponsor Mrs. Holland delivered food collected during the Homecoming food drive to the Imboden and Ravenden Senior Citizens Centers in December and January.

On Friday, December 16, Sloan-Hendrix Spanish students held a Christmas Fiesta in honor of their visiting distance learning teacher, Mrs. Orellana, who traveled from Hot Springs to celebrate the season with them.  The fiesta included plenty of Spanish cuisine and a ballet demonstration by Rebekah Swink.  The fiesta was hosted by Mrs. Clem, the distance learning facilitator.

The seventh and eighth grade classes at Sloan-Hendrix recently competed in a spelling bee that determined the students who will be going to the county spelling bee to be held on January 6th at Hoxie. In the 7th Grade: Caitlin Waddell-1st place, Makenzie Rone-2nd place, Devin Meeks-3rd place, Kierce Due-4th place, Jade Moore-5th place, Britany Caton- alternate; In the 8th Grade: Jade Hickman-1st place, Eric Horton-2nd place, Matt Zwick-3rd place, Patrick Ponder-4th place, Tyler Bailey-alternate

 FFA members held their Dinner and a Movie Night on Friday, December 2 in Paragould.  After the members watched a movie they ate at Couch's BBQ.

On Friday, December 2, the student body of Sloan-Hendrix High School assembled to take club and organization photos in the new gym.
