Insect collections in biology were due on Wednesday, September 26.
Several Sloan-Hendrix students took part in See You at the Pole before school on September 26.
See You at the Pole is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led prayer event taking place the fourth Wednesday every September.
This students were among those taking part in a fire drill at Sloan-Hendrix on Tuesday, September 25.  
The Lawrence County Ralph Joseph Youth Leadership Program participants traveled to the 4-H Center in Ferndale and the Arkansas State Capital on September 11.

The Sloan-Hendrix Cross Country Team competed at Heber Springs on Tuesday, September 11.  Outstanding times were turned in among the Junior Greyhounds: Jessie Powell-5th, Nathan DeShazo-10th, Zach Taylor-12th; and by Eunita Ames-12th running for the Senior Hounds.
