On Wednesday, October 10, seven seniors from the Sloan-Hendrix medical occupations classes participated in “A Day in the Life” program presented by the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.  The students were exposed to several medical professions and learned what a typical day is like for these health care providers.  Students heard lectures from a physical therapist, nurse, radiologic technologist, Air Evac team member, dentist, physician, phlebotomist, and pharmacist.  The day also included lunch and a tour of the hospital.  Those students attending included Tyler Booth, Robin Buckwalter, Joshlyn Flanery, Samantha Honeycutt, Madicyn Huddleston, Houston Pfeffer, and Megan Welch.
