On Friday, April 11, Sloan-Hendrix Junior and Senior class members gathered for the annual banquet and prom. Theme for the evening was Masquerade Memories. The Junior Class did a splendid job of decorating with a black, gray and hot pink color scheme. Seniors Kaitlin Briner and Tyler Lepard were impressed by the beautiful decorations. According to Kaitlin, "It was outstanding!" The Grand March was the first event of the evening followed by a welcome from Junior Class President, Natalie Gipson. Eric Hill, Senior Class President, gave the response with a warm thank you for all the hard work. The invocation was led by Kyle Murphy. A delicious meal of grilled chicken, baked potato, salad, cheesecake and hot rolls was enjoyed by all. Following the meal, guests enjoyed a PowerPoint presentation highlighting members of the junior and senior class. The dance began about 8 p.m. and was open to underclassmen. Chase King and Kaylyn Ferguson were crowned Prom King and Queen. Prince and Princess were Kyle Murphy and Natalie Gipson.
