On Monday, April 9, 2018, Sloan-Hendrix FBLA members attended the Arkansas FBLA State Leadership Conference in Little Rock.  After registration, Perry Hutton and Hunter Stallings made their live presentation for the Broadcast Journalism event.  Besides mingling with over 3,300 other FBLA members, students enjoyed workshops that included topics such as traits of successful people, how to get rich in college, and leading for success, to name a few.

Sloan-Hendrix students took time to tour the Old State House, Arkansasí first capitol building.  Construction on the building began in 1833.  In 1836, when Arkansas became a state, legislators began working from the still-unfinished building.  This building served as the capitol until 1911, when the present capitol building was finished.

After an early supper at Fridays, members returned to Sloan-Hendrix.
