of the classroom.  Teachers are constantly providing new, and interesting learning
experiences in the class and through club and organization activities.  This ensures
that Sloan-Hendrix is never a dull place.  There is always something happening on

Mrs. Dean presented copies of the 2016-2017 issue of the Academian to Coach Foreman, Garrett Reese and Hannah Rohrer.  The annual was dedicated to Coach Foreman for his years of service to Sloan-Hendrix and Garrett and Hannah were selected as Annual King and Queen.
The first day at Sloan-Hendrix for the 2017-2018 school year took place on Monday, August 14.  Seventh through twelfth grades met in the Bill McCurley Gymnasium for an assembly during the morning before attending their classes on a shortened schedule.
Teachers at Sloan-Hendrix started the school year nearly as soon as the old year was over - workshops, workshops, workshops.
