Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week was observed at Sloan-Hendrix during May 7-11, 2018.  School administrators, parents, and students took the opportunity to thank the employees of Sloan-Hendrix  for their dedication to the students and patrons of the school district.  Employees were treated to lunch, treats, and daily door prize drawings.  The administration also presented the Employee of the Year awards.  This year's honorees were Ricky Grisham - High School Teacher of the Year;  Becky Foreman - Middle / Elementary School Teacher of the Year; and Wayne Bradley - Classified Employee of the Year.  Click Here to watch the video of the presentations.

The Annual Miss Greyhound Contest took place in the Bill McCurley Gymnasium on Saturday, April 28.
The winners were

Annie Doney - Miss Greyhound, Miss Congeniality, Talent Award; Madison Mitchell - 1st Runner Up; Lilly Foley - 2nd Runner Up; Kassidy Young - Most Photogenic; Taylor Ivy - Audience Favorite

Macy McCormic - Junior Miss Greyhound, Audience Favorite; Zoey Horton - 1st Runner Up, Miss Congeniality; Addison Doney - 2nd Runner Up
