The annual Sloan-Hendrix Black and Gold Games were held in the Bill McCurley Gymnasium on Monday, October 9, 2017.   Boys and girls from the 7th grade, junior high, and senior high teams battled in intramural competition.  Continuing a long-time tradition of competitive excellence, the Greyhounds were victorious, winning every game.  A great way to start another year of Greyhound basketball at Sloan-Hendrix.  The sports fans in our community came out to enjoy a night of spirited rivalry, great entertainment from the Sloan-Hendrix band and flag teams, as well as free food furnished by Citizens Bank.  Thanks to all who helped make the start to basketball season memorable.  Photos by Kelsey Carter, Zoe Thomason, and Terri Puckett.
