On Monday, October 8, the basketball program of Sloan-Hendrix commenced another season, the 109th by some calculations.  With 109 years of basketball experience behind it, the Sloan-Hendrix community rallied in support of the Black and Gold Games.  Students dressed in the school colors, our new competitive cheer squad performed in front of the gym, PTE held a food drive, and Citizens Bank once again fed the appreciative fans.   The band and the color guard added their talents to the festivities.  All teams from 7th grade to senior high played.  In every contest, the Greyhounds emerged triumphant.  Good luck in the upcoming season, Hounds!
